I don't see good and evil as a similar scale to heat and/or light. There are points of absolute zero entropy or absolute zero light, as theoretical as they may be. Good and evil don't have such clear ends.

I think the best questions to discuss this topic are already highlighted in those videos. Not just "why does evil exist" but "is there so such thing as good and evil". After that comes, "if good and evil do exist, is good from God?"
Personally, I think good and evil are too subjective and too based on perspective to actually exist as absolutes.
