Would have liked to see pictures of the ride.

He continues to show he's a class act with the "common" man.

There a bunch on his page on FB. There was a party at the end and he and Laura Bush danced with and entertained the veterans. Their smiles and expressions are sincere and heart warming. They are both class acts studies. Unlike our current guy who is a study in acting class.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I'm not a Facebook follower, so thanks for the tip.

            Good stuff!

My dad is an AK (above knee) amputee from a hit-n-run. It was a long time before he would think he could work on his car again, so I can relate to the mental hurdles these guys have to make. Props to Bush for encouraging these people along the way.

Judging by the policies of the new boss he's very similar to the old boss. Might as well still be there.

Created the TSA, signed the patriot act, continuously lied.

He got into office with his no child left behind bullshit. More government control of our schools; yea that sounds just like a straight up conservative.

MASSIVELY increased the size and spending of government.

How is this different from a liberal? I don't know.

No one said the man was perfect...HOWEVER, he certainly was more "in touch" with the concerns of America and her citizens today unlike Barry, Romney...

He also understood tough decisions are not always backed by the popular crowd.

Look at ancient Rome, they had a body to govern the land and that body was composed of people elected by the people...well that body started to listen to the people more and more as this is what the people wanted. Soon, the politicians no longer acted using their own judgment but instead they listened to what the people wanted...and look what happened to their government and later the civilization.

Politicians are what they are as they know how to navigate the political terrain better than the average citizen so who would begin to believe that the average citizen knows what is good? I know what I want, I know what I need but they know the best way to get it...and what compromises need to be made in order to achieve that goal.

You may piss some people off, but once the dust settles, people will see that you truly were there for the betterment of life and civilization. Not to make some people rich and happy and fuck the rest…
