        Hasn't Paul run unopposed for most of those 30 years? Seems like anytime he's put up against any living person, he loses

            Yes he has. That said, the only time he tried a senate run, he had a reformed dem pimp-slap him by 60 points in the primary. At least Romney was a governor and a hugely successful businessman.
