Romney will lose in the general election to Obama. The MSM is already setting us up for it. They will blame it on the Paul supporters but if the guy had any real character he would have there support.Last edited by cyclonescott; 05-04-2012, 06:05 PM.

He was a successful business man but how could he not be, with his pedigree I would be more surprised if he failed at it. I would be more impressed if he had worked his way through college from nothing and had the same success. He is a chicken hawk who went to France to try and convert French girls to Mormonism instead of going to Viet Nam. I just want people to be objective and look at the real Mitt Romney and not just vote for him because some so called conservative radio or TV host tells you to.
Better question. How many has Paul?I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Every door was open for Romney because of his name and his money that he inherited. It is much easier to be successful when you are already holding all the chips. I don’t have a problem with the guy being rich or making a lot of money but it just isn’t as impressive and doesn’t mean as much to me as someone who starts at the bottom and works there way up.
Ron Paul doesn’t have as much money as Romney but is well to do enough now and has run a successful medical practice for a long time so I would say he has some business experience and he is on the financial services committee.

Right. 4,000 babies. He's how old? How long has he been in practice? He's been in congress 30 years (while going after term limits yet refusing to limit his own) so he hasn't been delivering babies that time. He's also been against earmarks while putting in his own.
So how does this flesh out Scott? He's against earmarks, does his own. for term limits, but not willing to limit himself. What is his business creation and running experience? Show me.I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Earmarks. He feels it would be better to send the money back to his district then let the federal government spend it. He can’t get enough of the others in congress to agree to stop steeling your money from you. So he is against them but he feels forced to use them.
Term limits. Again he can’t get enough of the others in congress to agree with them so he feels the need to be there to try and get it passed. He did leave congress for a while and came back because he felt the need to try and make things better.
Just watch the video I posted the other day of him debating Paul Krugman. Ron Paul made him look like a fool. He would do the same to Obama and Romney on the subject of economics.
Pairs Hilton is a successful business owner. How did she do it? Because of her name and because she already had money. Would she be a good president? NO!!
Being successful in business won’t make you successful as Governor (already proven) and won’t make you a successful President.

So you're saying he's doing like Obama. "The wealthy need to pay more but I'm not willing to lead by example and be the first to pony up." Right. He's a hypocrite. But then again, he's a politician.
Paris Hilton didn't build her businesses or make wise business decisions. She has things handed to her and her name sold to make more money. You can't compare the two. And if you think Paul would be a successful president, then why hasn't he gone for other executive experience, say governor of Texas?I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

I never said Ron Paul was perfect but he has more credibility than Romney and Obama combined.
As for being governor of Texas, just look at the current one and tell me with a straight face that he is qualified to be President.
Now try and justify all of Romney’s flip flops and outright lies that you can so easily find on the internet.

I'm saying Perry has more experience running a state than Paul ever will. Why? He's done it. If Paul is the answer, why hasn't he run Texas? You Paulbots never can answer that. You see what happens when someone gets in with no executive experience? We get Obama.
I can't stand Romney but I like him a hell of a lot more than Barry and Paul isn't even on the radar. He's all talk and never has had to put his theories into practice. Why should we trust him with the nation when he hasn't even proven he can run a state?I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

"Paul can do no wrong."
"Romney is just a white Obama."
"Without Paul we're doomed as a country. Fucking doomed."
"A vote for Romney is a vote for Obama"
"If Romney gets the nomination, I will not vote."
I'm paraphrasing, of course, but still.
