Originally posted by Vertnut View PostWhat arrogance? I see real hope, but no "arrogance". My man is anyone that opposes Barry. He MUST be defeated. It's may not be much, but it would be a start.
"reckless" How so? After watching the clip above, I don't see how he can be believed. Even after saying that, I would still rather take my chances with him than have another month with Obumma.
"statements of that nature are reckless and will make whoever says them look like a fool" His guy hasn't even been voted in yet, and he's ready to start labeling of anyone who doesn't blindly follow his man. I'm having flashbacks to the Bush years when people were so quick to label anyone that didn't agree with Bush's policies as liberals and would call them unpatriotic for not supporting the president.
"I think the Paulies have done more crying over Romney " Paulies?, Crying? More labels. People are excited over Ron Paul because he is willing to break away from the standard left or right mold. What's wrong with that? Of course there are people that seem obsessed with him. It's great that people can get so excited about a candidate.
I don't think our country will ever turn around unless people start trying to find things in common instead of reasons to tear down people they don't agree with. I'm guilty of it myself. People have become more and more self-centered with every generation. The "what's in it for me" attitude. Our political system is so stifled by it that the politicians can't even get anything accomplished anymore.
I agree. Obumma MUST be removed from office.

My point is, not a one of these guys is perfect. They are ALL politicians.

Originally posted by The Geofster View PostThere's a line drawn in the sand though. Romney isn't my first choice, but he is THE choice. Look, if Ron Paul stood a chance of securing the nomination, i'd vote for him over romney. That's not the case tho, nor ever will be.
And the Paulbot title is funny. The republican party would literally kill people in order to have just a small fraction of that kind of support for Romney. They are begging anyone, especially younger people, to just show up to the convention if they are picked to be in a delegation. No wonder the Paul people have taken over so many state conventions. You can't hardly find a Romney person who will do little more than pull the lever and that's about it. That is seriously bad news for the party.

It's kind of funny. Your man isn't even in the whitehouse yet and the arrogance is already beginning to shine through.
