Doesn't Ginsburg typically lean liberally? If so, her retirement under Obama shouldn't dramatically shift the court's interpretive disposition.
Ginsburg is actually quite the "lefty". It's almost a given that she will not make the next presidential term. I'm more concerned about Scalia, Thomas, or Kennedy falling over dead in the next 4 years. It can happen, and none of them are youngsters.

Ah. Yeah, one of them kicking the bucket would be disastrous.

Wouldn't it be just a little strange for R.P. to switch now? Especially since Santorum dropped out. If it was a run just between Mitt and R.P. I really don't think Mitt would stand a chance. I think most of the people voting for newt, R.P. and Santorum where people wanting something different than the same old establishment B.S. I do not think the majority of those people will vote for Mitt or the obummer, since there seems to be very little difference between the two.

Again with the "very little difference". Please elaborate...

Romney came from a VERY liberal state, where his job was a lot different. He has acknowledged that there's a big difference in what was done in Mass. and what the country needs. Whoever gets the nod to go on the ballot, will get my vote.

I vote for the supreme court. You lose ONE supreme to Obama, your guns and a lot of other rights will be G-O-N-E.
Exactly. Romney isn't the devil and he isn't going to take your damn guns away, either. Mass. isn't the country....its a microcosm. The supreme court is the real deciding factor...

That's what I am planning to do. Even if Romney is the eventual one to go against Obumma, at least I will have my say for Ron.

I don't see Romney as being what we need, but at least he is not the leftist anti-capitalist nutjob that Obuma is.

Everyone that says they'll write in or vote for RP come November.

If he runs third party Obama wins, just like that.

Good God, do you people ever look anything up for yourselves?

Here, all you have to do is look at the picture. Is that easy enough for you?

Horseshit. Don't play me like a 20-year-old. Thats laughable.

17 items (about 5 actual issues), and that's all you've got?

By the way, Romney is addressing the NRA as we speak.

Obama wins, if Romney gets the nod. Just like that. Watch, and see. And to be perfectly clear, I'm not saying Paul could beat him. I'm saying this election has been bought and paid for. Votes don't mean anything.

That's exactly what they want you to think. The "silent majority" stays home because it's pointless to vote. I'm a little surprised you of all people would fall for that. I would never consider you to be a quitter.

He's polling below every candidate right now. The statistics do not support your theory.
