A delusion is a fixed belief that is either false, fanciful, or derived from deception. In psychiatry, it is defined to be a belief that is pathological (the result of an illness or illness process) and is held despite evidence to the contrary. As a pathology, it is distinct from a belief based on false or incomplete information, dogma, stupidity, apperception, illusion, or other effects of perception.

          Sounds pretty accurate to me.

I use appropriate descriptive adjectives when the need arrives.

Sounds like an accurate description of your mindset to me too. Thanks for sharing your frank admission with us, li'l Webster.

Speaking of which, did the subject book address why people who profess to be non-religious are so obsessed by same?

My magic sammich performs miracles, heals the unhealable, and saves the unsavable, not to mention my sammich created EVERYTHING that you can, and will ever see. Including you. Yes, my magic sammich should be worshiped for all of the things it has done for you. It's given up it's garnishment so you can be saved and live in a sammich meat heaven.

                  Prove me wrong.

That's just because your sammich is sliced Jesus on unlevened bread.

It's not obsession. Just amazement that intelligent people actually believe in this fairy tale shit. We stubbornly think that if we offer up enough evidence to the contrary you may see the light as we have. But, all that does is make you stand firmer in your delusional (there it is again) beliefs and resort to attacks on grammar, choice of words, and distortion of facts.

Stand firmer in delusion, lol, brought to us by an esteemed member of the enlightened elite.

Do you seriously think your e-argument skills are that good that you will sway the beliefs of anyone outside of your peanut gallery? Now that's the stuff of fairy tales.
