These things crack me up. The article looks at 7 scenarios, and of course the ones they leave out are the wealthy upper class and the true middle class of today -- those of us paying for the damn thing!
The 7 groups:
30 year old single female income of $20K
62 year old divorced male income of $10K
23 year old single female income of $23K
Family with one child income of $110K I had to paste this part of the write up:
"The Rodriguez family will see minimal change in their coverage. It is possible that their premium will increase if their employers decide to shift some of their increased costs to workers."
BINGO!!! Businesses are there to make money. Now that their health care provider costs are skyrocketing, guess what's happening. The quality of coverage is going down while the costs are going up. I'm paying more per month now to get less. Why isn't this the part that everyone is focusing on??? There's a ton of people in this category with maybe another 30-40K more income and 1-2 more kids. That's the group getting HOSED!!! Sorry, rant off.
Family with one adult child income of $48K
Family with one child income of $21,200
Family with two children income of $42K
I hope the Supreme Court doesn't let us down!
