If you have ever worked at a major port you see lots of loaded containers coming off the ships but only empty ones going back on. What does get shipped back to China is raw timber, grains, tons of recycled metals and oil. All China cares about is our resources and will eventually come for our land . They already own 50 square miles in Idaho and want to build a factory and house Chinese worker there. Also I would bet that there is more to there military than what we see and know and if they wanted to get a billion people here fast that they would be able to.

To add to this. They have already bought all rare earth metal mines and shut them all down except one in Mongolia. I know because we need ceric suflate for work and couldn't get it for over 6 mo. This is what all the suppliers were saying. Word has it they're buying up copper and other metal mines.
I agree about their military. It is the fastest developing military in the world right now, and it is being built using commercial technology we have given to them to manufacture that they apply to their military equipment. In one report I saw, they built components for one of our aircraft companies along one wall of a factory and components for their fighters on the other. They have been building carriers and have stealth fighters and their military budget is supposed to double by 2015. I think they'll first flex their muscle either in an area they consider their territorial waters but we see as international, or backing a N. Korean power play. I also think they'll go for Taiwan if we ever back down to them. I don't think they'll invade the US, but they are building their navy to more agressively assert their will globally.

We are our own worse enemies right now. We not only give them our technology, but we borrow money from China and then turn around and give them grants to fund their education, environmental projects, clean energy projects, medical research, and who knows what else.

Iirc they only have one carrier right now and it's a Russian surplus carrier they are copying. They are WAY behind in the carrier game right now. There was a 7 page thread on arfcom talking about with a bunch of linked articles.

Also the male population 16-40 year olds is over 400,000,000 which is more than our total population. They don't have to get a billon people here just a few hundred million.

Cyclonescott you are ignorant if you think that 3-4 hundred million people will make it here to invade. step back and imagine the infrastucture required.

They could send every plane and boat they have at the same time and none would make it halfway here.

China wouldn't invade when they could be more effective collapsing our economy. This whole "more soldiers" hogwash is not as much of a factor anymore since if push comes to shove, we can just take out hundreds of thousands with so little effort.

Hell we can't stop 300,000 people from crossing the border illegally. Rome and Greece were sending 30,000 people on little wooden boats 2,000 years ago something most people would have said was impossible then. We landed over 300,000 people on the beaches of Normandy 60 years ago something people thought was impossible and had over 1 million within a few days. I see the impossible done at my work every day and that is just the unclassified stuff. I am not literally saying they will try to send 400 million people in one shot but a couple hundred thousand a time in waves would sure play hell with us. And don’t forget that we have plenty of other countries south of us that would love to join in on the attack and I’m sure Russia would have no problem coming in from the north. China also see’s those 400 million people as expendable.
