Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Jesus Christ, some of those dudes really aren't making that much period, much less in the face of the expenditures listed.

Well, I certainly won't defend financial stupidity. Like I wrote ... thought you guys would enjoy it. On the other hand I will say this: see how far $150,000 a year gets you in NYC or SF - not as far as most would think.

Interesting that the changed economy seems to now be impacting the one percenters as well...

I might have to take my kids out of private school, waaaaaaa. Meanwhile they're probably leasing two 7 series BMW's. It's all about priorities, no sympathy from me, at all.

I think a government bailout is the solution.

What a bunch of whiny bitches. If I made 350k a year I sure as fuck wouldn't be complaining about it. I'd live in some cheap apartment, drive a nice car/truck, and race whenever I wasn't working. (Although I'd still be broke, because I'd spend most of my money on racing)

Like a coworker of mine says, "As long as there's some fucking schmuck out there willing to do my job for $500k, I'm always gonna get screwed."

All this article proves is that people are horrible with money no matter what they make. Even ones who manage money professionally can be dumb when it comes to their personal finances. I work with a few people who do like the guys in the article and spend every dime they make on useless shit.
