Come on, DFWmustangs GOP representatives. You're going to need to find new excuses as to why a Paul family member is too nutty to be President. You'll have four more years of President Obama to think it over before Rand gets his chance, so I'm expecting some zingers.

They won't go for him for a foreign policy that may or may not ever come to fruition, but are perfectly happy to rack up 1.5 trillion dollar deficits ad infinitum, which our own Military Generals said is the single most dangerous threat to America, by voting for ANY other candidate , Republican or Democrat.
But no, let's spend money we don't have to defend countries that don't like us from other countries that don't like us.

I have no problem with Rand Paul at all, I respect him quite a bit."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury." -Alexander Fraser Tytler

The ONLY reason I will vote for another nominee is because Justice Ginsburg will retire in 2013 and we need a conservative Judge on the high court; but that doesn't mean I want to. I still don't think it'll matter.
By all means, let's vote for the moderates. McCain was SO close last time.Last edited by sc281; 02-10-2012, 10:18 PM.
