He's asking why the layout of your posts looks like shit, professor. Are you randomly hitting enter?

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Yeah, I do my own formatting, good or bad. But, it also requires a display with a reasonably
high resolution. On a phone, it will definitely have carriage returns in unusual places.

I like typing in a column, like I see in the papers. I know, "paper?", how archaic.

Looks like shit even at 1680x1050. Let the forums take care of your formatting as far as where to end the line. Obviously you've still got to be able to form paragraphs, but you should understand where I'm going with this.

Keep paying attention to my formatting, you're on the right track.

The sad thing is coming in contact with leeches who get an income tax return check for a couple of thousand dollars, yet everything they got was from scamming the system.

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone is even the least bit concerned with the "takers". I subscribe to the... the... that old british guy from the 1800's who said the poor shouldn't be helped at all. That the cream would rise to the top and it was best for everyone to just leave the poor alone.

That old british guy was actually ben franklin and the 1800's was actually the 1700's.....

“I am for doing good to the poor, but...I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it. I observed...that the more public provisions were made for the poor, the less they provided for themselves, and of course became poorer. And, on the contrary, the less was done for them, the more they did for themselves, and became richer.”
                  ― Benjamin Franklin

The town my wife grew up in is a perfect example of how this happens.

The town has a population in the low 2000 range, pretty much the average over the last 15 years or so. About 11 years ago a furniture company by the name of allen white manufactured furniture there employing close to 300 people. They shut down 9 years ago. When they did this most of the 300, of which a very large portion were african american, went on the dole. My wifes grandmother was a supervisor there and she told me two days ago that more than half had not had a on the book job since that point in time, and most just collect welfare now. The loss of these jobs led to more job losses as the laid off workers no longer had money to spend in the community.

The shadow economy in this country is huge, and I believe it is growing. There are loads of people who are paid directly in cash out of the owners pocket. Many of these same people also get some form of government benefits.

Heh, no. This was some guy I had to learn about in sociology. Wasn't american. The class was pretty stupid because the book tried to tell us that the majority of blacks aren't poor. Everyone knows they excel at being poor.
