  • Ron Paul was on fire tonight in the debate....

He really hit the nail on the head with this one. Probably one of the best moments out of all the debates so far. You can hear a pin drop at 3:29...

He had a decent night. He sure ducked and deflected the whole newsletter issue. He immediately brought Rosa Parks (?) and MLK into the mix. It was like a guy getting caught at a KKK rally, and saying some of his best friends are black. LMAO.

Paul could spit out all the secrets of the universe and people would still take issue.

He should be vetted and scrutinized like anyone else. You can't expect just wrapping yourself in the constitution will ward off all evils. This is childs play compared to what Obama's media will do to him (or any of them) should he be the candidate to run for POTUS. Barry has a $1 billion war chest to spend over the next 10 months. I can dig up questionable RP video's on the internet for free. What do you think they will find with real money?

Absolutely. Either way, RP can't win and won't so its a moot point really.

And, he wasn't drafted into the Army anyway...

Doesn't matter to me. I'm voting for him, whether I have to write him in or not.

His draft notice said he could enter the Army as a private or volunteer with his pick his branch of the service with a comission as an officer and practice medicine. What would you do as a doctor?

Using a legal means to serve is worse than using a legal means to not serve??? Gingrich/Romney...

Explain to me, since no one else can, how a canidate who will get 100% of the republican vote AND attracts more swing voters cannot win as compared to the other canidates who have a snowball chance in hell of attracting any swing voters.

Come on now, why are you asking a logical question? Don't you know there's no room for logic in politics? lol
Annoying people, one post at a time!

Because 100% of republicans dont vote.

Or democrats for that matter. Or people who arent officially either party. Voter turnout in this country is abysmal and while its in effect a two party system there is not in the population. (ie swing, undecided, etc)

There needs to be a canidate that has support of the base, as well as one that can get support from the middle. When you have a fringe canidate, no matter how popular he is to you, he may not have the draw to be electable.

He isn't ducking or deflecting anything. He's already answered that question on every single tv and talk radio show he's been on. He doesn't support those statements that were written and he's said that on several occasions. The bought and paid for media has not given it a rest though, even though they are well aware of his stance on it. This is all they have besides the name calling of him they do. It's a pathetic attempt to grasp at something that is nothing. Nothing new for the shills in the media. A real player with a proven track record is up there for the people, he can't be bought or changed, and it's obviously scaring the shit out the people who really run this place.

B/C he wont get 100% of the GOP vote by any stretch, and even if he could, he won't get the GOP party nod to even get past the primary. I wonder where all the RP nuthuggers get the impression that he would get ALL of the repub vote anyway? He too far off the deep end to be considered more than a flashier, more developed Nader.
