Not true sir. They are prevalent in Louisiana as well. Gillis B Long disease research center in Gonzalez pays relatively well for the little buggers. Think they were researching Leprosy on them back when I helped to paint that place in the mid 80's...

As for why Obama will win, the GOP has a public perception of being out of touch with the middle class. Look at the mudslinging occurring between candidates while the Dems just kick back and smile. Also, the frontrunner for the GOP is a career politician (yes, i know Dems are as well), born into considerable wealth (Most politicians are but Romney is getting hit with this quite often), and follows a form of religion most Americans know zilch about. The infighting and instability of the GOP with the Tea Party, etc. and it just seems like Obama is primed for a 2nd term.

The Repubs want Romney, I just dont get that? It shows, how out of touch they really are. In my opinion, Ron Paul could do some serious damage this election if he were the candidate.

I would consider myself an independent voter with no party affiliation.

He IS the candidate, just not being recognized as such...

            Doesn't matter.

There is a group in control of this country and it's neither democratic nor republican, and it's definately not the people. The election process and two party system is all a show to entertain the masses while the real man behind the curtain answers to no one. It's too late for us, we would have to burn it all down and start from scratch.

So vote for whomever, it won't change shit.

So going from 10 to 16 trillion in 3 years isn't doing much? Going from a AAA rating to AA isn't? Hitting 100% of GDP to debt ratio is nothing? Hell I hope he stops doing much at all

Hmmm...ya so essentially a gub'ment wire tapping operation & investigation on a select few is much more damaging than a national tax & gub'ment intervention on everybody? Right.

Well, good luck being content with having people like that "black man" running our country forever.

Weird. They ever find anything besides "Yeah, they got the leprosyz"?

And sometimes I think that maybe, in the end, that the forefather's master plan is still working out and always will. They had to know that filth would of course arise to positions of power, but through endless gridlock, the people stay relatively free. And that's really what you see more than anything else. Endless gridlock.
