Nothing humors me as much as a catch-phrase syllogism thrown out that doesn't answer jack shit.

If your idea of "trickle down economics" is not allowing business owners to be profitable, then you are no longer relevant to this particular discussion.

All i read was some multi-million descendant bitching about his wife's insurance when he's signing the front of checks.

      What a stupid fuck.

So do you hold the same animosity to the Democrats (Obama) for extending those same laws you (and I) hate so much? How about the indefinite detention of American citizens that just passed? Wake up man. The "left wing" and "right wing" are attached to the same vulture. Look at every policy set up by any politician since JFK. Not one of them of this nature has been reversed.

You can get coverage under the federal PCIP plan for her, and the rates are not unreasonable. Note that Texas has both the federally run PCIP plan and the state run high risk plan. The state plan is a lot more expensive than the federal plan. The federal PCIP plan runs until 2014 which is when insurance companies are forbidden to reject people with pre-existing conditions.

I have to agree with you on the whole "Fuck the republicans standpoint". They're garbage, just like the democraps. There are only a handful of repubs that represent my point of view. At best. But don't be fooled into thinking the dems are any better cause they're a lot worse. The type of socialist, quasi-communism that they stand for has been proven disastrous so many times that its a wonder the democratic party still exists at all. Just look at the trouble that any state that adopts their philosophy, is in. Financially. Collapse very very VERY bad for the people.

I don't think we really changed. Ann Richards was a dem but not a liberal. She said anyone who thinks we shouldn't have the death penalty is stupid. Its that the dem party has changed, but we didn't change with it.

Then I'd have to ask, are you against being forced to pay for something, under threat of imprisonment? That sounds like the same kind of infringement as the patriot act. One is "We don't like you, we can take you to jail". The other is "You don't pay us, you're going to jail". What's the difference? I can't tell.

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same Ann Richards. The Governor was staunchly against our right to carry (CHL), she authored and instituted "Robin Hood" in Texas schools, and backed the reduction of manufacturing semi-automatic weapons and that's just a few. If that's a not a "liberal" to you, I'd like to have you point one out.

LOL at the Rep / Dem arguement again. They are no different nowadays, it's the political WWE. This is why this nation is and will continue down the toilet sewer pipe, they both work for the same offshore bankers, the one's that make up the federal reserve central bank.
Research Jeckyll Island and how the Fed Res came to be. This IMO was the start of it all, America was sold and isn't ran with America or the Amercian people's best interest anymore.
Those that think this all just happened overnight is kidding themselves. Those that continue to buy into the false left/right paradigm are failing to look behind the curtain, it's all theater now.

If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Politicians want us all to argue like this so we can keep on our different sides while they play all the blame games and keep passing bills that only hurt us normal people.

BOTH PARTIES are responsible for the mess we are in now. This did NOT start with the current administration, or the previous administration, but BOTH are guilty of causing some of the problems we are seeing now. Our current problems actually started decades ago, not recently.

So, are y'all gonna keep on arguing over who to blame or are we gonna look to see what WE as the people of the United States of America can do to get us as a nation back on track?

I agree with you there. The poor are going to stay poor, unless they choose to wrench themselves from their poverty. However, which would you rather be? A poor guy with hope of getting a job? Or a poor guy with no hope of getting a job? Or maybe its that the libtards never really understood Reagan's trickle down economics. Of course they would want it to mean that money literally trickles down right into their pockets without them having to work for it. Reagan would assume that because the rich were not being robbed by the government, that they would of course expand (as rich people will always do) and thus create more jobs. With the end effect being that there are more jobs for the poor to work at. Which to me, sounds like "trickle down" works just fine.

Typically, liberals hate any kind of real punishment. While she may have stood for the control of firearms, you don't call someone a liberal who thinks that anyone who opposes the death penalty is stupid. So my point stands. I think you'll find plenty of "conservative" or "republican" politicians in favor of some measure of gun control as well. I call them garbage, I don't know what you call them.
