Am I happy with how things have turned out under Obama not really but....IMO it's better than the alternative. If the Republicans would TRY to work with the Dems on at least some things they would stand a better chance. But their "it's a Obama idea so it HAS to be fought with everything we have" mentallity on absolutly every single thing is costing them with the people that matter. The people in the middle. I know most people in here are Republican nut huggers so I expect to be seriously flamed but I could careless. The OP asked a question and I gave my point of view. The Republican have shot themselves in the foot with thier childish tempertantrums and when they lose in November they have only themselves to blame. Fire suit on!
So do you hold the same animosity to the Democrats (Obama) for extending those same laws you (and I) hate so much? How about the indefinite detention of American citizens that just passed? Wake up man. The "left wing" and "right wing" are attached to the same vulture. Look at every policy set up by any politician since JFK. Not one of them of this nature has been reversed.

A 2 page exposition of self-flagellation expertly broken down into 2 concise sentences....

    Well done...

If your idea of "trickle down economics" is not allowing business owners to be profitable, then you are no longer relevant to this particular discussion.

Right, as soon as some idiots realize that the federal government doesn't have all the power and they're limited by the Constitution, we'll get somewhere

Don't any of you see what is happening?

Politicians want us all to argue like this so we can keep on our different sides while they play all the blame games and keep passing bills that only hurt us normal people.

BOTH PARTIES are responsible for the mess we are in now. This did NOT start with the current administration, or the previous administration, but BOTH are guilty of causing some of the problems we are seeing now. Our current problems actually started decades ago, not recently.

So, are y'all gonna keep on arguing over who to blame or are we gonna look to see what WE as the people of the United States of America can do to get us as a nation back on track?

American Business *ethics* seems to be all about the fast quick money and screw anyone else. And if you aren't doing that then your a loser and deserve to be poor. The Bernie Madof and Enron syndrome.

It's very possible to treat your employees fairly, pay them a decent wage and still make money. If fact if you do it right you will make more money because your emplyees will get behind you and push. It just takes being a decent person with real ethics.

    Whatever I'm done.

You guys can go hump each others leg and crow about how you showed me if you want. It'll go right along with all your other delusions.
So tell me, why hasn't your mother hired more people? Why haven't you? Are you thinking long term? If you have multimillion dollar businesses, then you have the money to hire more people. Do you provide health care to all of your employees? I bet you don't as you are wanting tax payers to pay for your wife's health care. Why don't you come off of some of those millions?

No, it wasn't low. You're against the 'wealthy' and think they're heartless not creating more jobs. Then you said your mom is a multimillionaire and thus wealthy. So therefore you think she's a bitch who isn't doing her fair share otherwise she'd not be wealthy.

Don't you think that was alittle low calling my mom a bitch when you have never even met me much less her? Course I guess thats par for the course in this forumn.
So that pegs you at 50 years old? Hmmm. I pay my taxes, too. Democrats like your mom, that own multi-million dollar company's are not affected by taxes. She's not going to miss her Lexus payment or mortgage payment to keep people on her payroll. She'll let them starve or cut back on employee's. Why do you think hollywood is full of liberals? They've got so damn much money taxes and bad economies don't affect them like it does a working man.

I would like to see how much her employee insurance went up this year. If she's honest, it went up a lot. Everyone elses did. Thanks, Obama-Care!
