Quite true. When questioned about the Quran's contradictions later in the book, Clerics routinely say teachings that come later in the book overrule any earlier contradictions.
Ain't it fucked up what people, of any religion, will do when they believe it's God's will?
Agreed, I generaly hate all people the same (race, religion, sex/sexual orientation) but those fuckers really scare me.
Were is your prof that they weren't students. Just because they were followers of the Imam's Line doesn't mean they weren't students. They weren't part of a military group.
Where's the proof they weren't? Do you know that investigations have shown Ahmadinejad himself was one of the "students" that led the takeover? Ever notice a lot of those "students" appear to be 27-30 years old? Wake up, man.
Iran was a very unfortunate casualty of the Cold War (from both sides)... and we are still feeling the repercussions today.
Cyclone = zarathustra... LOL
IMO, most of today's jacked up hot spots are from British and French meddling due to their past imperialism and "colonies". Iran, Indochina, Ivory Coast, Libya, Iraq, etc.

So you trust everything a government sponsored agency tells you? Do you think that they have full access to all of our sites? No it wasn't the Iranian regimen that took the embassy hostage it was Iranian students. They had some simple demands, that the Shah return to Iran for trial and execution, that the U.S. government apologize for its interference in the internal affairs of Iran, for the overthrow of Prime Minister Mossadeq (in 1953), and that Iran's frozen assets in the U.S. be released. If the US had done this instead of denying that we had started some of the problems over there the hostages would have been released. Do some real research into the covert operation that Israel conducts on the US. If we and the British had left them to there own in the fifty's the people off Iran wouldn't be living under the current regime. Did the Iranians kill ten's of thousands of Iraqi women and children in there occupation of Iraq? Wait they weren't the ones occupying Iraq.
You are aware that if you aren't happy with the US that you are free to remove yourself from such an evil country right? As someone who was in Iraq, I can say we went through every possible way we could think of to limit casualties while protecting our soldiers
It was also you mentioning that they allowed the IAEA in to view the sites but then you started in on "Oh, you don't believe an official agency do you?" So which is it? Do we trust the IAEA or don't we?

Why should I remove myself from the country when I am the one who believes in the bill of rights and the Constitution. I find it kind of hypercritical of some of the people on here who don't want there freedoms encroached on by our government but have no problem with our government restricting what a sovereign nation can do. When you were in Iraq did you stop to think that we were the ones who backed Saddam gave him the weapons that he used to control his people. Why don't we invade Saudi Arabia They treat women and others just as bad as some of the other countries that we are liberating.
No I don't trust the IAEA. They will say what they are told to say. We keep heiring how Iran is on the verge of getting a nuke and we need to bomb them before it happens but then we see the news of computer viruses setting them back for years. we've been told that Iran was going to have a nuke anytime since the 80's.
255 kills, 160 confirmed.
HOLY SHIT.
Oh, and he'll be signing his book at the NW Hwy Barnes and Noble on Monday.

Everyone doesn't have to die. Just the guy that is a complete lunatic.

When I was in Iraq, I was busy getting shot. You see, we were trying to protect civilians from insurgents which meant we were a big target that couldn't move. Tell you what scooter, head on over to the Middle East and try to exercise any of your freedoms.

Talk about a misappropriation of cause/effect, responsibilities...shit, everything. I don't agree with a lot of what he's saying, but justifying our foreign engagements simply because you were being shot at and a lack of similar freedoms is a non sequitur of massively, orgasmically, epic proportions.
I don't have any personal beef with you. My dad is a army vet from the 60's and I have respect for those that serve in the military. My point is though, if the the US government didn't get us involved in a conflic with a contry that has ever been any kind of threat to our borders you and others in the military would not have to have suffered. My freedoms are inalienable and not given to me by any government so there us no need for me to head to the middle east. Thankfully we had some people that fought for them a few hundred years ago so we would all have them. I am willing to fight for them again for myself and family and future generations if need be.
Actually, they are a threat to our national interest at the moment with them threatening to cut off oil. Since Obama won't let us drill here, we need it. Unless you'd like 8 dollar a gallon gas like New Zealand
