No it wasn't the Iranian regimen that took the embassy hostage it was Iranian students. They had some simple demands, that the Shah return to Iran for trial and execution, that the U.S. government apologize for its interference in the internal affairs of Iran, for the overthrow of Prime Minister Mossadeq (in 1953), and that Iran's frozen assets in the U.S. be released. If the US had done this instead of denying that we had started some of the problems over there the hostages would have been released. Do some real research into the covert operation that Israel conducts on the US. If we and the British had left them to there own in the fifty's the people off Iran wouldn't be living under the current regime. Did the Iranians kill ten's of thousands of Iraqi women and children in there occupation of Iraq? Wait they weren't the ones occupying Iraq.

Actually, I think anyone who picks up arms against us is our enemy. Iran funded insurgents in Iraq against us and is threatening us and our allies by cutting off the oil. What right do we have to say anything about the resources of other countries? Considering we fund most of the countries on this planet with foreign aid, we have quite a bit.

Now if you're saying cut off all funding to everyone, put up border walls and arm them so no one enters illegally, deporting or shooting all illegals already here and utilizing our own resources then perhaps we can talk. The Bill of Rights applies to our citizens. Not other countries.
