Our national interest? Americas only national interest should be between the east coast and the west coast of the US. To say that we can go into any other country and tell them what they can do with there resources is so UN-American. If you apply our Bill-of-Rights when you think of how we should treat other nations it becomes clear that our foreign policy is flawed. We need it? What kind of entitled mentality is that?

All I am saying is leave them alone and they will leave us alone. We were involved in the conflicts of WW2 from the 30's. We sanctioned Japan had wealthy Americans funding the Nazi party and working to oust the Czars in Russia and it came back to bite us in the ass in the form of Pearl Harbor. We had info japan was going to attack but didn't put the dots together. Yeah right. Sounds kinda familiar
