Has Iran ever attacked the United States? They have signed the NPT and the IAEA can inspect there sites. Israel has attacked the US (1967 USS Liberty) has not signed the NPT and won't let the IAEA inspect there sites. But yet we sanction Iran and freeze there assets to the tune of billions of dollars. We tell them who can and can't trade with them and what weapons they can have and we wonder why there is distain towards us from the people and the Government. Where is the logic in all this?

The IAEA are the ones saying they are making a bomb and violating the treaty, are you dense? As to your other nonsense, didn't the Iranian regime attack our embassy and take people hostage for quite a long time? I don't think Israel is a state sponsor of terrorists are they? Were the Israelis making roadside bombs and sending them to Iraq to kill our troops?

No it wasn't the Iranian regimen that took the embassy hostage it was Iranian students. They had some simple demands, that the Shah return to Iran for trial and execution, that the U.S. government apologize for its interference in the internal affairs of Iran, for the overthrow of Prime Minister Mossadeq (in 1953), and that Iran's frozen assets in the U.S. be released. If the US had done this instead of denying that we had started some of the problems over there the hostages would have been released. Do some real research into the covert operation that Israel conducts on the US. If we and the British had left them to there own in the fifty's the people off Iran wouldn't be living under the current regime. Did the Iranians kill ten's of thousands of Iraqi women and children in there occupation of Iraq? Wait they weren't the ones occupying Iraq.

Quite true. When questioned about the Quran's contradictions later in the book, Clerics routinely say teachings that come later in the book overrule any earlier contradictions.
