LOL at all the conspiracy theorists'. This caucus has a history of meaning very little. Take out the unopposed candidates, and you have basically nothing but a barometer of who the top candidates will be. It serves as more of an eliminator than picking a straight-up winner.Romney will probably take it and RP will do well. I'm thinking Gingrich will take 3rd and maybe even Santorum as a 4th.

There are sites already telling libs to switch tickets early and vote for who ever is at the bottom of the barrel to help spread the view that repubs are too divided not going to be able to stand united behind one candidate.

Even though these things have very little real meaning, they do sway people's opinions, and that is enough to make them actually sway voters.

Rush Limbaugh started this with the democratic caucus back in '07 and called it "operation chaos". It had limited effectiveness, even on a national level I doubt Iowans will respond in large numbers.

As far as implying a strongest candidate, there isn't one, the top two candidates are virtually tied given the error factor of all the latest polls.

Maybe next time you should read my actual post instead of trying to put words into my post and assume something?

I read your post, I asked who you thought was the "toughest" candidate, then I asked if you were implying what I read your post to be. Asking isn't putting words in your mouth, it's asking.

I hope Paul wins it. I thought he was a loon at first but the more I research the more I like him. He is the only one who would make a big change in our nation...the others promise us what we want to hear and then will never deliver. I'm sick of Washington and a RP win would piss them off....we need something to change.

No, wait. They save that until the demorats get their chance to vote, don't they?
Usually, but since the establishment neo-cons don't like RP, the one candidate they can't buy, they're making an exception.

Is the drudge report considered a Ron Paul site, or more likely a good cross section of all thought processes? The reason for the question is they just opened an informal poll, and RP is up over MR pretty substantially. No clue how to imbed the pic of the poll...

It's not a RP site, and this is exactly the kind of poll that needs to be conducted. No Fox or Cnn shenanigans to close the poll when RP is in the lead. Drudge is the most viewed news site there is.

And RP is opening up a lead. Digging it.

I bet the three stooges (Limpballs, Levin, and Hannity) still try and discredit the poll somehow. This is great because the three stooges usually point listeners to drudge for reference and news, and now they will be bitch slapped by what they consider a trustworthy news source and everyone will get to watch them squirm and make excuses why RP is winning.

Paul is creeping in on a 4 point lead. I bet he's up 6 or more points at least by the time it's all over.

183000 votes in, five point lead established.

But then again you have to discredit this poll as well, as it is a mix of demorat, republicant, and the rest thrown in.

Kind of like the actual election will be.

If you say so... considering I never mentioned a single thing about RP until this post, I'd say yes, you were reading something into my post (s) that wasn't there.
