Edit: I also have seen no reports of kids being forbidden from praying, or celebrating Christmas.
So whats wrong with the video? I have seen tons of school forbidden from praying ( one in California was posted months ago here) and the Christmas thing has been going on forever. It is now hitting here in Fort Worth and others.

He figured the religious base was bigger, (or at least voted more) than it really is.

hurr durr. HERPA DERP! Students can pray all they want to. The schools (read: faculty and staff, and those appointed to speak) cannot lead, join, or hinder a students prayer in any way.

so he doesnt support fags or Obama sounds like a good president to me. i see nothing wrong with his message. he probably wont win but atleast he had the guts to say what he believed instead of just trying to gain votes.

Going to the middle got Obama elected. Why is it permissable for the left to go fringe but if the right goes conservative people call doom on them?

I think he was saying that to get votes. Trying to get the religious vote by alienating gays who won't vote for him anyways.

This. He's a RINO. He was even a Democrat before it became politically inconvenient to be one in Texas.

DEEERP! that's regarding speeches that are sanctioned by the school, still forbidden by the first amendment. Prayers that are done on the students time are still acceptable, when on school time. When sanctioned and approved by the school, it is not allowed.

Have you only lived in this state for 10 minutes? Perry is a consummate politician and will ONLY say ANYthing he thinks will get him votes. Severe miscalculation on his part this go 'round.

And that "Can't make this shit up" picture is fucking HILARIOUS.
