It is true that they have some of the most restrictive laws against guns in the country. An uncle drives semi trucks and he has told me they will routinely pull the truckers over and search for guns, said you don't want to get caught. This is why officers should be allowed to carry personally owned swords if they so chose. I'd pick this one for closeup crowd control duty.
If your attacker is less then 3 feet away from you a hand gun becomes a HUGE liability instead of an asset. When it comes to getting physical with one person holding a sword and the other 5 or 10 or 20 are empty handed the person holding the handle usually wins.Magnus, I am your father.
