CAIRO – Judges overseeing the vote count in Egypt's first parliamentary elections since Hosni Mubarak's ouster say near-final results show Islamist parities taking a majority of seats contested in the first round.

They say the Muslim Brotherhood could take 45 percent of the seats up for grabs. The liberal Egyptian bloc coalition and the ultra-fundamentalist Nour party are competing for second.

Together, Islamist parties would have a majority.

This week's vote was the first of six stages of parliamentary elections that will drag on until March.

Continued success by Islamists could allow them to give the country's government and constitution a more Islamist character.

The judges spoke on condition of anonymity because official results are expected to be released later Thursday.

Iran will over run Iraq in a year just like North Viet Nam did to South Viet Nam. The Saudies and Kuwait will either fall or just get in line. America's been hi-jacked, plain and simple. You don't really think ol' Barry's pulling the string's and doing all this do you?
Barry could be thrown out today on not only charges of treason, but for being insane. The treason part is easily seen and can be documented, the insane part would fall under Ammendment 25 article 4 I believe.

But as it sits, the Constitution is no longer the Law of the Land, and no one in Washington is going by it, matter of fact they're aiming and destroying it. So who's going to bring up any charges to get Barry out?

Israel is bad news for Israel.

That is a dumb comment. I think we're keeping Israel on a leash to keep them from using the bomb. They're surrounded by enemies and the last time they were attacked, they beat several countries at a time in 3 days. This time I think they'd just wipe everyone out and expand the territories.

this is bad news for everybody. instability in that region will only make matters worse for all of us. sanctions against iran will not keep them from building a weapon. russia and china will still do business with them and they know this. the sanctions will only work if all countries agree and with the case of russia and china that wont happen. its a storm brewing so we will see what happens in the next year. we do need a stronger admin in office the libtards dont have the sack to take care of business and iran knows it.
