Not at all. I don't talk to anyone from here outside of anything I post on the forums. Paranoia and delusions. Where is our resident doc?

racrguy, interpretation of the definition or not - don't try to spin it like he's a leeching loser. I don't know you, and I bet you're alright to be around. However, you really come off as a self entitled, close minded prick. I don't take religion or much of anything personal, except insults to military personnel - current or former. Show some damned respect and do your debate without insinuating that he is a loser and is anywhere in the same realm as OWS or any other social program that sucks.
Also, I know you'll nit pick every little aspect and say you've said none of that. You're so smart, and all that BS. I don't give a damn. I'm a close minded prick on this subject.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

I'm generally very respectful of those that serve, until they start insinuating that they have or should have more rights than others. And AFAIK he was the first person to bring up what exactly his disability was. I'm posting from my phone, I'll go back and read the whole thread later and amend this post if I'm wrong on that account.

Also, I think you need to consider that not EVERYONE...
a. Has what it takes to join
b. Has what it takes to not go insane when under fire
c. Hell, just getting through Army (which admittedly is second to the Marines) creates a lot of washouts.
I do not agree that no one forces someone to join. Granted, no contract or gun to the head. However, true patriotism is why a lot of people I know joined. Granted, you have some that went for the GI Bill - but in my opinion it's the ultimate way to serve your country and society. Give back a little for this great country (minus the politicians).
With that said, I don't see how anyone can lump a military member on disability, with the general lame people who are trying to leech.
On one hand yes a military member..
a. Volunteers
b. Does their job
That's fine, but they do so with the stipulation of...
a. A list of benefits, one of them being disability.
Hell, my insurance has disability - short and long term. Does that put me in another bucket if I get hurt and utilize it?
I assure you from a personnel perspective - you're getting a lot for the money. Most out process and don't cost the taxpayers anymore. In the cases where a military member needs "disability" - it was in their benefit package and they earned it from us.
I appreciate your opinion, but it just makes me sad to think people would consider a disabled Veteran the same as a standard welfare leech.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

What I think he's saying is he chickened out at MEPS and now thinks that those injured in service to the country are on the same page as those who can't feed themselves and should stop talking about service. I do like the "I serve my country as does everyone who doesn't go to war." Really?
How have you served and sacrificed for the Republic?I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool
