There's no reason for the poor to have to pay someone to prepare their returns. Anywhere with a college/university nearby will probably have a VITA program where accounting students will prepare them for free.

I know qute a few people that could file their own taxes in fifteen minutes for FREE, but they pay someone else because it's so "complicated". Seriously?
