I got held in a TSA office with over $10,000 for three hours and questioned about it. They were total dicks, so when they asked me why I had it, I told them "It's no big deal. I just cashed a 2 week paycheck. Have you not seen this much at once before?"

TSA is a fucking joke. I had a cheap coleman flashlight from walmart "confiscated" today because it could be used as a DEFENSIVE weapon....uh, so could the 9 ballpoint pens in my backpack. fuck retards...now I have to go buy another flashlight and pray I don't get shit when I fly back tomorrow. They also wanted to confiscate my laser measuring device...but gave it back eventually. ugh!

When looking at buying houses, the mortgage broker questioned why I only had a certain amount of money in my bank accounts, as I needed at least 6 months worth of pay for two house notes and assorted bills. I informed him if I needed more money in the account, I could have it there by that afternoon.

Apparently you have to have the money in a bank account for 3 months holding steady. It baffled him when I stated I store the majority of my money in other locations and assets. He couldn't grasp the concept why ANYONE wouldn't trust a bank.
