I will probably be accused of having "white guilt" for my choice but so be it. The people throwing that out are just as bad as the people who were calling everyone a racist that didn't vote for Obama.

When it gets down to whoever vs Obama.. I will vote for "whoever".

I liked Newt and his "I'm a statesman so I'm not going to bicker and we shouldn't be fighting each other, we should be united against Obama" theme. But I also like Cain. A Cain/Newt ticket or vice versa would be ideal

I know you posted earlier about no one in the current Republican race being able to turn what has already been done but who do you think would be a good replacement to possibly try and turn things around? I am just starting to get into politics and giving a damn about who our next President would be, and like to hear what people have to say about the possibility of our next president.

honestly i dont get on here and debate much because i dont feel like im smart enough to properly articulate what im trying to say. from what i have been reading and researching and hearing is pretty much that if ron doesnt win, not much will really change. the other canidates are the same thing as obama, pretty much bought politicians.

My opinion is that this economic crisis cannot be fixed. Our overspending and massive debt accumulation has done us in. Now, the Fed can take measures to slow the collapse through controlled money supplied growth, but think of this as life support. If you stop injecting money and end the near-zero rates, it is like pulling the plug on granny. All this is doing is keeping the fluids going and air flowing. The bad part is that the longer this is carried out, the worse the rest will be. I've already extinguished the word, "recovery." The reason this is still being carried out is because those in control (that caused this in the first place) are capitalizing from this, earning more than ever in the history of mankind.

Now some people believe that the "fix" is to just end this charade and get a reset over with.

And don't worry about everyone else's take on it, I'm sure they'll be chiming in shorty after I hit "submit."
