Im sick of pain medication addicted people... some doctors are full of shit in my mind. Pain management doctors piss me off. I recently had a class by a Nurse Practitioner who specializes in pain management. One of her patients uses 2000mg of MSContin everyday. FUCKING ABSURD

Show me that people taking valium, oxy, xanax, kolonnopin, and a million others aren't driving under the influence after taking them. Oh, wait... Let's not forget all the things I mentioned, and, well, ALL rx drugs are far more dangerous, and damaging to your body.

Oh boy. You want to take a judgemental stance on a subject and even debate it, but don't even educate yourself as to the facts of the issue before making a decision? Your type landed us the current President. I bet you're proud. Lobbyists are the reason pot is no longer legal. Simple as that. Lobbyists and crooked politicians. Shocking, isn't it?

Legal in CO too, man. And if you think those are the only people that think it's ok, you live a sheltered little life.

Oh, yes. We need more regulation. You're talking out of both sides of your mouth. Govt regulation works, without fail. Every time. USPS, Social Security, DEA, DHS, ATF, IRS. There is no corruption, they all work flawlessly, and there is no abuse.

      Oh, wait...

I have drank...never was my thing though. I dont drink at all now. Expensive and I have no reason to get drunk.

If you guys think its so amazing, why was it ever banned? Why hasnt it become a broad use of medicine? They still use cocaine in some instances in hospitals... How come its only the liberal people in California that think its ok while the rest of the country does not buy into it.

While you might have me there...the government regulates stuff and without some basic prinicpals of regulation, we would have all sorts of problems in the US. While Im not for big government, we need some government to keep dumbasses from hurting others. Some people ruin things for everyone else.

Why are all you pot smoking hippies complaining? I doubt this will effect a single person here. Oh wait...its the principal...not that fact you want to legally smoke pot
They do not have the p[ower to regulate this. Are you saying that each state doesn't have the ability regulate what happens in their states? You ARE for big government. Any action by the government that isn't enumerated is big government that is overstepping bounds emplaced by the Constitution.

I'm far from a pot smoking hippy. I'm a soldier who bled for the Republic and the Constitution that is the bedrock of it

And Brent... I think that psych and pain drugs are getting whored out in our country and it is completely wrong. People are such fucking pussies these days that think if they dont have a medicine, they wont be ok. In school I saw people taking Adderall prescribed by their doctor because they couldnt concentrate on school.

I had a patient that got prescribed Xanax for when she takes a breathing treatment. She said she has an anxiety attack when her heart rate goes up from the Albuterol treatments....its supposed to!

In the words of our 16th president....

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."*

-Abraham Lincoln; Speech, 18 Dec. 1840, to Illinois House of Representatives

Potheads are dangerous criminals y'all!!! I'd be more worried about perfectly sober, distracted drivers than a paranoid pothead with the munchies, for christ's sake.

exact reason the govt. doesn't want it. too much money will be taken from the pharmaceutical companies if pot were to be totally legal. if you could grow your own pot that makes you less stressed out and calms your nerves then people won't need to buy as much other drugs. not to mention the drug testing industry itself would take a big hit. plus privatized jails would be less crowded and make less money. so the lobbyists for pharmaceutical companies push to keep mj illegal.

exactly. and no one will even care because it's easier to keep our heads buried in the TV or facebook than to give a shit. it's so sad.
