  • Hank Williams dropped from MNF. WTF?

ESPN drops Hank Williams Jr. from 'Monday Night Football' opening but singer says he was "misunderstood" in comparing Obama to Hitler.

What about all those comparisons of Bush to Hitler, no one blinked. This is such a crock of bullshit.

ESPN has dropped Hank Williams Jr. from opening Monday Night Football tonight after Williams' controversial comments Monday about President Obama.

Says ESPN, in a statement: "While Hank Williams Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize he is closely linked to our company through the opening to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result have decided to pull the open from tonight's telecast."

Williams, perhaps best known for his "are you ready for some football?" lead-in to ESPN's Monday Night Football, Monday compared this summer's so-called golf summit between Obama and House Speaker John Boehner as "one of the biggest political mistakes ever."

As Williams put it on Fox News' Fox & Friends: "It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu."

When asked on Fox to explain his analogy, Williams said Obama and Vice President Biden are "the enemy."

Although ESPN has a policy about its on-air personalities getting involved in politics, Williams has said he's interested in running as a Republican in 2012 for a U.S. Senate seat in Tennessee.

What irks me is how so many lefty celebs have compared Bush to Hitler, and of course nothing happens to them.

Thing is he wasn't comparing Obama to Hitler he was comparing the golf game between Boehner and Obama being as RIDICULOUS as a golf game between Hitler and Netanyahu.

Truth hurts and the puppets are being controlled everywhere we turn. Better for him anyway, NFL has sold out, they grope and feel you up before you enter a stadium just like the TSA at the airport. America has become a socialist police state and if you don't agree or speak out against the establishment (which is supposed to be our right to) well then they will do what they can to silence you.
Hank didn't play their tune, God Bless Hank! His record sales will probably go up a bit cause of this, so good for him.
If they never showed another NFL game, that would be fine by me.
                        2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
