He site is super buggy right now, but I was able to get a small part of his view.

Protecting our nation’s sovereignty should be a paramount concern of those elected to lead us, not an afterthought or a reaction once the problem becomes even worse. Further, taking a stand on the issue does not mean one lacks compassion, but instead, that one respects the rule of law and the importance of not becoming a lawless nation.

I remember during the debate there was a number of 400million or so (may be wrong but it was high) spent a year to protect the borders. Why not build a fence 25 or however many feet high and reduce the amount of people who actually patrol the border?

It seems like a big waste of resources having people patrol a border with no real defined wall or fence. Spend the money on a wall, cut resources by half and implement a shoot on site policy for anyone who wants to trespass. Alright maybe not that last part.

And what the hell is up with Perry giving a discount to illegals for college? That is fucking nuts. I don't really understand this whole coddling of the illegals. You are here illegally, why do you deserve special privileges?

We can build a fence a 100ft. tall, but as long as our country is willing to pour out entitlement programs to illegal’s, they will find a way over, under, and around that fence. Yes, there does need to be a much larger presence in the border area and fences will be part of that presence however there is no larger factor in illegal immigration than the free ride our country provides. Take care of that portion of the problem first and as a tax payer I would be more willing to spend some money on these fences. Without those changes it is a huge waste of time/money IMO.

That was Ron pauls stance and I agree but that shouldn't even be a question.

I like Herman Cain...just dont think he has it to win. I love his approach to answering the questions... "here is the problem and here is how Im going to fix it". But, like Ron Paul, I dont think he will have enough support. Id vote for him for sure if he won the primary....

Why not vote for him in the primary? The '12 election is a walk-in for the Republican party at this point and will be even more so when it actually rolls around.

From a participant in the Florida Straw Poll:

In order to vote in that thing, you had to pay a bribe of $175 to the war party of Florida. I did it but I feel like a sucker now because that money could have gone to the Ron Paul campaign but instead will be spent to fight Ron Paul. Disgusting War Mongers totally manipulated the situation from a lose/lose to a win/win for them. I’m sick to my stomach now that I see what they did.

I am what you would call an infiltrator (— of the — County Republican Party) and they told me months ago that they were hoping the high price would “keep the Ron Paul crowd out.”

Dean Cannon, speaker of the Florida House, wore a Rick Perry sticker on stage and told people that he was “Florida’s Candidate.”

You hit the nail on the head about the cancer thing. I was sitting next to a lady that said that since he had beaten cancer he could beat Obama. I laughed so hard that the Sprite I was drinking shot out of my nose.
                  2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Cain/Paul would be a sweet ticket. I would feel a ton better voting for Cain/anyone over perry or romney.
