2 Million people about to loose unemployment checks

Exactly. God I hate mooches. As I'm getting older, I'm becoming quite the asshole when it comes to my money. When someone used to ask me for change, for any reason, I'd toss them what I can. Now, I'll blatantly tell them "So because you are too lazy to work, you're going to take food out of my kid's mouth?" And the entitlement about it blows my fucking mind. I can't tell you the number of times someone mumbles "Fucking greedy asshole" or something along those lines as they walk away, which makes me see red. Fucking A right I'm greedy. It's MY money, and I worked hard for it. Why the fuck should I fork it over to you for no apparent reason?


There is this fat bitch, that you can find 7 days a week, all hours of the day or night, roaming the Joan's Car Wash at 183 and O'Connor. She's been working that fucking car wash for 10+ years. Begging for money to feed her kids. Now, knowing what I know (that she's there all hours of the day and night), I have to question where her "kids" are. And the lippy bitch gets mouthy about it when I bring it up. Finally, after 10 years, she has learned to stay the fuck away from the grey Expedition with the Cowboys star in the back window.

DAMN 2 year vacation...must be nice....why work when your getting a free check just to sit your ass at home and do nothing???? i had a cousin who was laid off, guy didn't even try to get a job for over a year....his umemployment check was about to run out so guess what...he went and got a job, so guess what i bet since those 2 million people don't have that free money coming in so there going to have to get a job or be bums....but hell even bums make money, not pretty work but standing at a corner for hours at a time holding that lil cardboard sign is more then those on unemployment are doing....sorry done ranting.

I just left recruiting duty for the Marine Corps "Granbury Texas" . I may be a little off topic here and if I am I apologize. I had a lot of "kids" from 17 to 25 years of age in my office on a daily basis looking for handouts, asking if they could have a bonus before they even signed up. Once I sat them down and discussed enlistment options "work" they didnt stick around long. God forbid you have to break a sweat to earn a buck or two. I also understand this line of work isnt for everyone, like I'd tell the parents...im not trying to expidite your childs trip to the afterlife im just looking for warriors. Bottom line is there is work out there. You can pick up rank fast in the military today and if you have a family the housing is very nice and the medical is better than the fucking clinic in downtown Fort Worth "I've been there to pick up medical documents SHIT HOLES". The pay is descent and fuck man its job security because you cant get fired unless you really really dork it away, I dont like being here sometimes I havent lived with my wife and daughter in almost a year and im still deployed but my family has a roof and i can look myself in the mirror at the end of the day and know they are safe and warm....fuck it. Like it was stated before...stop with the handouts....earn your place. Lastly I'm no longer recruiting so please dont think this message is for that purpose, I'm currently deployed and converted from dfwstangs to here. Sorry if I got on a soap box.

I don't know the last time you looked around, Stephen, but there are slums everywhere you look. Parts of DFW resemble third world countries. You know who lives in the slums? WELFARE RECIPIENTS! It's no coincidence. Go figure, that the same people that take no pride in a job, much less a job well done, take no pride in ownership of anything. Why? They usually don't own anything. That apartment they live in, is Section 8. That Escalade they drive, is owned by the tote the note car lot. You know why they don't have pride in ownership? Because they have no initiative. See, making things look and appear nice takes initiative. The same initiative, that they don't have, to get off their ass and provide for their families. So if they don't have it in one aspect, why would they have it in another?

I will not repudiate as I believe you are correct in "many" of the points you mentioned. But, your assumption that every person on WELFARE has no pride in a job, or in a job well done, is, well.. Illogical.

I just caught the end of Fox News today and the unemployment extension is possibly going to be a loan instead of just a free handout. Maybe i seen that wrong just curious if anyone else did. Maybe keep future tax returns if these people ever get any. just a thought
