I don't guess many watched this event since I don't think it was on a national TV schedule, only SC local news and internet I believe. All the questions were basically the same for each person just worded slightly different and each candidate went on stage cold not knowing the questions until they were asked.

The cliff notes: Perry was a no show because of the fires. Bachman came off like a robot to me, and I do agree with most of her statements, she just seemed really zombie like. Cain was a smooth talker. Lot of good plans, but no idea if he means any of it. Newt was good, no, he was great. He's not my pick as far being the best man for the job, but he did really well and I think a lot of folks will warm up to him. I wouldn't count him out at this point and he has something to offer the party IMO whether or not he gets the nod or not. Paul clearly loves the chance to get his message out and while not as polished as others, his past and present actions speak for themselves. When asked about how he felt that 47% of households now pay no income tax he replied, "That's great, sounds like we're halfway there...." As usual he won the applause contest. Romney was as you would expect. Very middle of the road on most issues and had decent answers. To be honest by then I was starting to not pay as close attention as I had been, but I don't think he did good or bad.

The transcript should be out by tomorrow somewhere for those that care.
