Well, yeah, it was in present tense and doesn't seem worth mentioning in this context. While I agree that was stated I guess I fail to see your point There are about 2500-3000 words up there, next time, quote that shit, lol.

So you want to do things the same way we have been, but you're expecting a different result? The economy is recovering slowly, but the incompetence among our leaders in Washington is threatening to squash it. These guys inability to work together, to make progress, to make policy, is going to crush the nation under the weight of it's bloated gov't. This seems to be a big part of the problem.

Remember, the political climate and the economy were so fucked that a black man of questionable birth place, religious affiliations, political philosophies, with a name that rhymed with Osama, with a middle name Hussein, was able to beat a white war hero. Obama didn't win the election, the Bush administration lost it without even being in the race, if that ain't THE motherfucker of all motherfuckers, LOL

My goal is to challenge the reader to take a critical view of the issues he or she accepts as truth.
The point of the article is about getting us to open our narrow minds. He wants the reader to question the "truth" we thinkg we know, what we are told, what the source is, what their agenda is, and seek the truth. In doing so we should find common ground so this nation can go forward in prosperity. The blind allegiance we have to our teams is what's causing the problem. We don't seem to care who is on our side, what they do or don't do, so long as we win, even if it means destroying the country in the process.

Frost is right. View points are far too skewed and passion is far too little. Not saying one side is right, one side is wrong, but without passion and clear cut views it is hard to have followers. The mushy middle is fucking worthless.

Thank God. IMO my Christian brethren are very misguided on this issue. http://www.statesman.com/news/nation/fight-over-teaching-evolution-in-texas-fizzles-1634523.html?cxtype=rss_texas

I believe you are referring to me saying that everyone should test before voting. That's a personal belief and isn't in the Constitution. However, it can be by calling for an article 5 convention. Would you like me to explain what that is?

And I wasn't disproven on creationism. All I heard from you was "we're not saying we know where we came from, we just got here and changed." Your stance requires you to fill in the blanks, mine doesn't as I attribute it to God.

As I said, should be zero middle ground. Either you're for one thing or for the other. Apathy is killing this country almost as fast as liberals.

I'm not going to go into some long winded explanation about evolution, how you're wrong on your thoughts of it, and how you're wrong on your thoughts of people disproving creationism. But your stance on your beliefs goes directly against the constitution. Would you like me to explain what that is?

No, it doesn't violate teh constitution as I have no power to enact it. Were I in such power, I would call for an amendment to put it in the constitution. Which, liberals, is the only way to alter the constitution

You don't even understand your own point, let alone mine. This conversation is over.

Agreed, which is why I probably shouldn't bother with the statement below.

Your frequent usage of fallacies is probably another reason why I should stay away, but I'm trying anyways.

I do agree that apathy is the root of this country's biggest problems, but I don't agree that being politically centered as apposed to being a communist or anarchist has anything to do with apathy. You're either one side or the other, no room for middle ground, right?

I'll bet you have views that are both left and right. Judging by your avatar I'll bet you even support some degree of socialism. How do you feel about the military? Perhaps you served in the past, but you've now changed your mind and no longer support the US military. Maybe you favor something for profit like XE Services (formerly blackwater) - As such I'm sure you reject all benefits offered to you based on your service in the military. I'm sure you don't want to feed the monster!
