  • Get back in your f'ing office

Why is this guy out of his office again?

Flying to Michigan to a plant built by stimulus money that only employed ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY (150) people. That is awesome, forget the fact that the amount of money that one single trip cost in fuel (AF1 and Marine1), staff, security, etc. but 150 folks. Awesome.

Now he is going on vacation AGAIN. He is never in the damn office.

I spent last night at my desk for 13 straight hours only getting up to piss or pull my food out of the microwave. I am the furthest thing from a key critical member of our nation and I was so busy unfucking $4.5 million in lost government property I could not leave until it was fixed.

This ass steps out, spends more money that we don't have and accomplishes WHAT?

    Rant off.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

If he's not on vacation, he's playing golf. Hell, Bush gave up golf in 03 because he said it wasn't proper for a President to golf while men died.
    I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Why not? He's completed his mission. Now, he just has to kick back and watch.

I dont have a problem with the president is not in washington, the office of the president is anywhere the president happens to be, he can do he job from anywhere in the world. But congress cant, and I do resent the fat that the president has not called congress back to washington to work on a jobs bill.

You must be WAY smarter than everyone else in the world. How is it, exactly, that someone can run a country from a golf course? I must have missed this elementary lesson in my HS govt class.

Weren't you on the bandwagon with the others from the old board, talking about Bush in Crawford so much? This is Martha's Fucking Vineyard!

LMFAO! What kind of mystical, magical powers does he gain sitting behind a desk in the oval office?

I'm not defending him, but dude, this is 2011, the world is mobile.

The economy is fucked, 4 war fronts and he is sitting at one of the most expensive island resorts in the country.

Lacks tact and class. We all know he couldn't care less (unless it involves a re-election), but come on!

Approval rating below 40% now. No chance of getting elected again. Good riddance.

I was trying to find something witty to post up saying "it's not over till it's over;" but all I could find is this.

Let me firt say that I do not support Obama.

But you might want to check your facts about how much time has been spent on vacation by Obama, compared to the last three Republican Presidents.

I understand your frustration with the shitty job he's doing... but wake up, he's not shitty because of how much time he spends in the office. He could work 365 days a year and still suck LOL.

I'm not talking about the time in office vs. vacation, rather the timing of the vacation.

Yeah, I can totally see him putting his golf game on hold so that he can make conference calls on the 2nd fairway. Perhaps all of his chiefs of staff are with him every moment on the golf course so they can discuss all the crucial steps they need to take to get this country headed in the right direction (lol). Just because he has a cell phone, doesn't mean that he's doing his job from a golf course. Until I see a governor or president doing actual work from a golf course or a campaign trail (Perry also), I'm going to say they need to get their ass back in the office, especially with the state of our union.

I could even go along with you on this one, but will also add that "perception is reality." IF he is perceived to never be in his office, and always out golfing or lately trying to gear up for re-election, then "reality" for Americans is as such. IF our country wasn't in such poor shape, and IF he didn't begin every speech with "the previous administration" this and that, he would be cut a lot more slack. The truth is, however, he's had as much of a hand in ruining this country as anyone, yet blames it on "the previous administration" every chance he gets, all while taking too many fucking golfing trips.
