This is what blows my mind about the American people. Incredibly short memory.

I'm not saying he created the mess. The dot com bubble burst, then 9/11 happened further tanking the economy. However, He did increase gov't spending 100% and the national debt that took ~200 years to accumulate doubled during his administration. Combined with a loose monetary policy by the fed, years worth of revolving doors between finance & the SEC, expanding a housing program of failure that dated back to the Carter admin, and many other things led to the crash of 2008

Bush wasn't a major factor in the 08 crash and Obama isn't a major factor in this one.

While you make some points here, they are completely different in one important area, their view on how government should interact with business. Obama is a regulator, Bush was more hands off. Clinton was hands off as well. Just as the article says, every time Obama opens his mouth the business environment gets more uncertain.

Baron: Of course Bush kept the bubble rolling. He wanted to have a balanced budget and to cut taxes and make everyone happy but unfortunately Al Qaeda had other plans. Then we had Katrina and Ike that didn't help out a whole lot. Short of war time presidents I can't think of any that have had a tougher deck dealt to them than George W. giving up on fox news means you're relying almost entirely on liberal media. I've found that as the mainstream media gets further and further left (it's literally turning into state controlled marxism) Fox News appears more and more right, which it's just the mainstream traveling further from center.

Lower taxes did nothing to get us into this. If Obama would take a giant dose of "fuck off" and taxes were cut the economy would slowly begin to pull out. When he is replaced and people feel confident that they won't be forced to live on less, spending will grow and things should normalize, to some degree.
