If he got the nomination, I wouldn't have much of an issue with it given our current situation. However, seeing history repeat itself for the third time has jaded me regarding the constant enthusiasm for Paul.

I'm saying it doesn't matter, Ron Paul will not get the nomination - he's anti-war. It's over before it begun.

LOL and quoting fast83 is exactly my point. Not sure if you read the last 2 instances this thread has been around in the past 11 years, but this conversation has always remained the same, I argue the same points, it happens, he doesn't get the nomination. You can't get the nom with an anti-war stance, it just isn't gonna happen no matter how eloquent and exact your points are.

I can already see South Park doing an episode about Perry, and someone asking him who he is...(in Dave Chapelle's Rick Jame's voice) "I'm Rick Perry bitch".

Out of any one of the candidates Perry strides far in comparison. Yeah he's a bit of an ego-maniac, but I like where he stands politically. He's not afraid to confront difficult issues, and not just to cater to a group. He stands for faith, and he has a stable economy. All important things that are so screwed up in this country today IMO. I would vote for him.

I would like to give Rick Perry a solid kick in the balls.

But I'll vote for him over Obama on any day of the week.

The Dems had better wise up and put forward an alternative candidate in the nomination or they are gonna be screwed.

Looks like Perry has his plane. I have my issues with the man, but his optimism will completely fuck Obama for 2012.
