Judge orders use of Islamic law in Tampa lawsuit

I appears that he is applying Islamic law to establish legitimacy of arbitration. Not the final ruling.

It appears to me he is ordering a group of people in America to follow laws, other than those of America, who have no wish to follow those foreign laws, did not agree to follow those laws, or sign a contract to follow those laws, nor agree to undergo any arbitration subject to those laws, and forcing a final ruling based upon those foreign laws.

He has no reason or legal grounds to establish a legitimacy of arbitration as dictated by foreign laws, as he is not a lawmaker.
