  • Since Ron Paul won the GOP candidate poll on here...

... by a landslide margin, I thought this might be appropriate. A litle long, but worth the watch even if he's not your cup of tea.

The guy wins every poll I see online, but Fox News is always talking him down and dismissing him.

I guess Rupert Murdoch just doesn't like that guy and I don't think a Republican can win the nomination without the aid of Murdoch's propaganda wing.

For example - I was watching fox news a couple months ago, they mention some pole where he didn't get any votes.

I pause the TV and go googling for the poll. I found it, it was like joe blow's blog poll.
The reason Paul didn't get any votes, HE WASN'T ON THE POLL AT ALL. lol

As the commentary always is here - I like a lot of what he stands for but a handful of things just don't make sense and would be very bad, imo. Then again, hell he might more sense when taking his platform as a whole than anyone else. We are on a bad path with the way we're going currently though, that's for sure.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

And when they, or most anyone for that matter, has a poll where Ron Paul does well they then try to marginalize the validity of their own poll. What?

Please, explain. I'd seriously like to hear what you don't like about Ron Paul that another candidate is doing well with.

I don't think he's correct with regard to 1) his isolationist-leaning philosophy; and 2) his ideas on Fed auditing, gold standard, etc.

Fox news isn't to be trusted. I'll just throw that out there. Glen Beck is a lying sensationalist, Bill O'reilly is a bumbling blowhard that doesn't know jack about dick about squat. Even when they've been shown how they are incorrect, they'll still plow on with the same line of BS that they've been saying all along. Most pundits on all sides of the fence generally don't know a damn thing about what they're talking about.

Obviously didn't wat h the video. Drinking this koolaide is much easier than watching this long video.

Awesome video btw. I was starting to think that with poll results being completely different than the actual Republican election results that the election was rigged. But with a comment like this, I see that faux news still has a strangle hold on some of the public perception.

This video will not negate the 10 or so over the last 20 years where he comes across as a nut. There are shit tons of long threads (here and on the old site) pertaining to this, and for the 300th time, I like a lot of his idea's, and I would vote for him if he's the Rep/Tea Party choice against Barry, but it won't happen.

                        ....

The Liberals and Republicans cannot even balance a budget. We need a true leader for our country. Vote for Ron Paul.

I think what hurts paul is that he is one of few republicans who actually wants to end corporate socialism. banks and corporations run this country, and they very much like the money they get from the government.

Damn shame, too. Where's the true "no spin zone?" I don't want to have to sift through some schmucks opinion on a topic, I just want the facts, and nothing but the facts. Having to read about the same story from 8 different places just to get the whole story gets old as fuck.
