  • United States' Financial Statements

I receive a few pm's every time I reference these data points in a post. I'm assuming we have a couple members here who know how to make sense of a set of financial statements. Of course - the interesting commentary is found in the notes to the financial statements. Here are the links. Sorry, I'm coming off a 75 hour earnings week from hell, but I'll try and answer any questions.

Balance sheet and Income Statement are below ... if you want to see a P&L (income statement) it's referenced as the "statement of operations and change in net position".

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I really don't understand what I'm reading here, so I stuck to the pictures, and all I can say is that it's really pissing me off to see the expenditures line going through the roof while the revenue line staying about even, or going up at a very low angle. There's something wrong here, which dancin' chicken do we need to light the fire under to fix it?

First and third link didn't work for me, and I cannot browse 268 pages of pdf document at the moment.

I know it is extremely novice of me, but cliff notes, if applicable?

Revenue has increased a little each year, but steadily.

          Spending has increased dramatically.
