I wonder if this research will be taken seriously.

IMO this goes to show how screwed up it is when you try to make policy on junk science.

Are global temps going up, absolutely. Are we the ultimate cause, maybe and maybe not. The problem is that we are not relying on science nearly as much as we should. It's all politics. The problem is that politicians lie all the damn time.

      Love the last pararaph:

"When objective NASA satellite data, reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, show a "huge discrepancy" between alarmist climate models and real-world facts, climate scientists, the media and our elected officials would be wise to take notice. Whether or not they do so will tell us a great deal about how honest the purveyors of global warming alarmism truly are."

Pay researchers and scientists' enough money, they can make any conclusion they want. There's a lot of money in "green" technology.

It was well known in the late 80's and 90's that if you wanted a grant, all you had to do was add "and it's impact on global warming" to the title.

            Like this proposal...
"Why Homies in the Hood Choose Nikes Over Reeboks and Its Impact On The Environment"
Instant grant. I made $145,000 dollars off that grant.
Just kidding as you know, my fine white type(no racism implied) readers.

Of course it won't be. Even a disproven idea has value to a government that wants more money.

Do you for one minute think that there is not a TON of money in non-green way of life? Remaining status quo is big money for oil and gas companies. Do you for one minute think that oil and gas companies do NOT pay their own experts to say what is beneficial to the bottom line profit?

The people that are paying for the data that shows global warming are people that invest into solar energy, wind energy, hybrid cars, and all that crap. Just because one industry (oil and gas) doesnt mean invest into green technology, tons of other companies do.

Green technologies are way down here to the left. Oil is on the verge of decline, if it's not already there. A lot more players can get their hands in a growth market than they can in a declining market. Oil doesn't have to do anything to maintain their hold; it's the technology of today. The money for everyone else is in the growth product.

One industry? Do you have any idea how large the oil and gas industry is? Care to take a guess?

Lets do this, com-pair/contrast the the GNP of oh lets say Sweden with just 1 oil and gas company --- Exxon. LOL

What is your point? Yes, oil and gas is a shit ton of money every year. The green movement is very strong (which is dumb if you ask me) and its not going anywhere. The EPA, President, tons of other special interest groups are pushing fore more "green" technologies. The oil/gas industry might have the upper hand in sales, but they are not winning the battle. The world is pushing for more green bullshit. The people driving this green technology are here to push their agenda and make money. If they need to pay people to spout off about global warming and make some bullshit data trying to prove it, they will.
