Not on the same scale, but since you mentioned it.

    http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/201...oy-water-pump/

Hackers gained remote access into the control system of the city water utility in Springfield, Illinois and destroyed a pump last week..........The intruders launched their attack from IP addresses based in Russia

don't worry, i'm sure there was some us involvement in the creation of stuxnet.

you should watch the ted talks on stuxnet, how it was designed and how they lab'd it is very very fucking cool.

Our drones have been infected with a virus/spyware/malware for about six months now, and the military cannot get rid of it.

The last I read, they have no idea what it does or where it came from, and only guess that it was loaded onto the network from a removable data device.

listen to the ted talks, there are "clues" in the source but no origin as of yet.

Be funny if it got some of its instructions confused and that happened. Or it just detonated it wherever it was at. Wouldn't be able to launch it but it might be able to tell it to go off.

"Got some of its instructions confused"? And you claim you're a developer?

I try to make it a little easier for people (who aren't in my field) to understand. Have you ever seen a video game with a bug? Trust me, its definitely within the realm of possibility. Programs do the wrong thing all the time.

A bug is not a computer getting confused...
