Its probably more than 80 a month. Its not just at the gas pump that you will pay more. Crappy energy policy isnt the only reason we are in trouble but it is part of the problem.

Unlike a lot of people, I keep track of receipts and fuel costs. Last month I used 83 gallons of gas. Simple as that.

Did you factor in how the increased price of fuel is contributing to the price increases of all products that contain, are made from, or use fuel to be transported?

Trade deficit...pure and simple. If all our money wasn't being shipped overseas for oil, chinese junk and foreign assistance, the money would have stayed on our land to pay bills and circulate in our economy.

This then required us to print more money, devaluing our dollar and causing us to print even more to keep up to flow of our cash overseas.

THEN you pile on entitlement programs, growing government spending and two or 3 longterm wars into the mix and it's a fast train ride to bankruptcy.

all of this was cause by greed and arrogance of special interests that could give a shit about the average american as long as they can dupe them into voting for candidate X.
