Having a special month isn't forcing it down anyone's throat. If that's how you look at it, you're too sensitive. What I mean is, don't sit there and suck each other off right in front of me and my kids. I don't give two shits what you do behind closed doors.

The older I get, the less I give a fuck about this. I don't give a fuck how they live their lives anymore. Live and let live. Don't impose shit on me, don't force me to have an awkard conversation with my kids about why two dudes are mugging down, etc, and all is well. Not ALL of them force it on you. I agree that some do, and when I encounter it, I'm not shy about speaking up. I'd say a large majority of these people just want to be accepted. Sure, there's bad eggs, but that comes with every race, religion, profession, etc. Fuck it. Life is too short for me to concern myself with everyone else.

I really dont care what someone's sexual preference is, and I could care less if they want to marry, but dont the gays already get enough special treatment? I remember going through the law school application processes, LSAT prep classes, ect. not only did the gays get bumped to the front of the line, they got money handed to them.

No - I really don't care. However I am also of the belief that interest groups don't need months dedicated to them. That goes for everybody black, hispanic, queer or otherwise. It does nothing to promote forward progress as a nation, really it's just a waste of time and tax dollars.
