    Thank god.

I'm just giving props where they're due. The bigotry by others in this thread is pretty fucking disgusting.

All I'm saying is as I get older, the less I care. I don't even give a shit about the 'born that way vs attention' argument. I still believe what I believe. That, and that we have much bigger fish to fry. With Barry and his socialist agenda, to the left ripping apart and doing all they can to devalue the dollar, the Constitution, etc.

Perhaps an assumption on my part. The argument I always hear about not letting gays marry is because it "goes against God." That is the ONLY argument against gay marriage that I've ever heard, read, etc. If you have another legitimate argument, I'm all ears. I'll wait.

Why? Because they are different? So are african Americans, Latinos, women, etc. People fear what they don't understand. I get that. But I don't see how they are any bigger a target than someone else who is not a white, heterosexual male.

That is one of the most retarded analogies I've ever heard.

How exactly are they forcing anything down your throat? Let's look at this for a second. The argument could be made that YOU are forcing your beliefs down their throat, by not allowing them any recognition, any rights, etc. And it's all based on your Religious beliefs. You are shoving your religious beliefs down their thraot, because their "perversions" and "faggotry" (your words, not mine) is something that goes against your religious beliefs. You do realize not all believe in God, right? Let's just agree that you're a hypocrite of the highest order. That's far nicer than anything else I could say, based from your close minded, bigoted posts.

So, it's all the gays fault. I see. Disney holds no liability, right? I mean, Disney is the one that agreed to all of this. Never mind the FACT that your coworker is a dumbass that lacks personal responsiblity. I don't give two shits if she had a travel agent or not. It's her duty to do her own research, unless she blindly goes through life believing what others tells her, instead of researching things on her own. Man, such a lack of responsibility, she might as well be on welfare! Disney has been a longtime supporter of the gay and lesbian community. Half if not more of their employees are gay/lesbian. This is COMMON PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE, and has been for a decade or more. Boycott Disney if it's such an issue. No merchandise, no movies, no vacations, no cruises, etc. Oh, and no Pixar while you are at it!

Gays simply provide an easy target for ridicule among those so inclined, and some may need to feel justified to do so by their own interpretation of their professed religious beliefs. Doesn't make their interpretation right by any means, and no true believer in God stigmatizes anyone. Is it considered a sin by many religions? Yes, and so are many other things.

You fix an issue by bringing it to everyone's attention, no?

Edit: It's kind of hilariously hypocritical that so many of you here hate big government but are perfectly okay with them not allowing gays to marry.

Typical American. Blame someone else for YOUR failure to do proper research. Oh look, it's THEIR fault! Keep that shit up, and we might as well call you a Liberal.

I agree that some do, and when I encounter it, I'm not shy about speaking up. I'd say a large majority of these people just want to be accepted. Sure, there's bad eggs, but that comes with every race, religion, profession, etc. Fuck it. Life is too short for me to concern myself with everyone else.
Oh my. A voice of reason on DFWStangs!

Upset? No. Grossed out... kinda. Not only that its the principle of the thing. They demand the right to flail themselves about in our face, whilst also demanding that we accept it. Yet they don't want the opposite opinion being put out there at all, let alone demanding that it get its way. The whole situation is, as usual, one big double standard.

You really love you some gays don't you? Every time the gay bashing starts, you can be counted on to come in defending them.

This is a fair statement, my wife and I would not think to specifically check to see if it is gay week. Hell, I would not expect WD or any other park/kids attraction to HAVE gay week.
