This has been going on a while in The Houston Chronicle:
Authorities are searching for three men they believe are connected to the fatal shooting of another man at a north Harris County apartment complex on Saturday afternoon.
Witnesses told deputies that two men, one of whom was armed with a gun, were seen chasing another man at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Parramatta Lane around 4:20 p.m., said Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesman Deputy Thomas Gilliland.
After hearing gunshots, witnesses said, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the upper chest area and lying in a grassy median in the complex, Gilliland said.
The man died at the scene. His identity is pending an autopsy.
The suspects left the scene with a third man in a late-model, white Dodge Avenger. They are described as being in their mid-20s, 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 180 to 190 pounds. One of the men is believed to be armed with a handgun.
