The truth hurts, huh? I grew up in Austin (still have family there), and know the enemy quite well. I was actually very kind with my comparison. Of course, if you feel compelled, you can "edumacate me" on your "belief" (or "disease").

By the way, if you weren't around for Jimmy Carter's term, your opinion has little validity with me anyway.

No shit. My daughter just graduated from UT last Friday, and after 4 years of liberal prof's beating on her every day , it's amazing she held onto most of her daddy's ideology.

It is amazing the shit they teach.

You think you're well-versed in liberal ideology because you grew up in Austin?

I'm quite well versed in liberal ideology cause I have to fucking hear about it all the fucking time. I wish we lived in a country where I had no idea what it was. Go bow down before your food stamp president.

It may not make me "well-versed", but I do know what makes you and your ilk tick. I'm still waiting on your definition, cupcake.

You'll probably be waiting for a while. That's the liberal tactic: Assign the blame elsewhere with no answers.
If you ask one why their position is the correct one, they will tell you that it's because the opposing side is wrong. When you ask why the opposing side is wrong, they'll tell you that it's because their side is correct. They are experts at two things, talking in circles and name calling/finger pointing when they're backed into a corner of wrongness.
"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

Of course I'll be waiting. There IS no definition of "liberalism", except to spend someone else's money to give them that warm, cuddly feeling that they did something "good". They jet around in Gulf Stream V's, and tell the rest of us to use solar energy. They tax us into oblivion, then want more, because it's never enough.

There was no "bail out". Lloyd Doggett (a democrat of Texas), instigated an amendment to federal education funds ($830 million for teachers!), that said Texas had to spend that same money for the next THREE YEARS out of our pockets, in order to get the funds from Uncle Barry. BULLSHIT! That amendment was just now defeated by the republican led Texas house and senate.
See, typical of libs, we can't even spend OUR OWN MONEY the way our state needs to. They want control over everything, and take away states' rights' in the process.
