If Obama gave orders to take out bin Laden and the mission failed and some of our troops got killed, sure as shit he would be held completely responsible for it.

He did say he got the info and he gave the orders, but as the commander-in-chief, that is his job, to give the order. Obama gave the credit to the miltary team that carried out the mission, and the intelligence team that gave him the info.
