In Uzbekistan, the AFN played up Saddam's capture death. In the states, did Bush take a whooping for capturing Saddam? I had Internet access there and did not see it either, just seeing if FF is on point or not.

If Bush did take a bunch of crap for taking down Saddam, I get FF's point. When Obama makes the call, he's heroic, but a lot of tough calls Bush made he was bashed for them by the media. The media sways public opinion (which people should think for themselves a little but they don't.)

Bush was criticized for treatment of Saddam and Obama went after the CIA for the enhanced interrogation and SEALS got court martial-ed for 'punching' a terrorist, yet Obama is cool with going into a nuclear armed, allied country, and unilaterally executing someone? Hey, I'm all for shooting Osama. I wish I had done it myself, however you have to play it fair. Bush was a tyrant for going after Saddam and for his execution by his own people and yet Obama is considered untouchable for going into Pakistan and executing Osama on the spot? Where is the liberal media screaming he should have been brought back and tried for crimes in a civilian court, like the did KSM?

Despite the long damned speech that Obama gave where it was "I did this.." "I did that.." "I authorized..."

Comparing Saddam to bin Laden is apples to oranges.

You want to talk about level of responsibility? How about Bush having bin Laden's sorry ass in Tora Bora but refusing to commit more troops and allowing him to escape? And then Bush pretty much gave up on even chasing him and admitted as much. Obama got elected, commanded resources start gathering intel on his whereabouts, and then acted on what wasn't even a sure thing. Wrong. The info wasn't leaked until the "enhanced" interrogation techniques were put to an end by the Obama Administration.
