If they're open I plan to be there this weekend. How about everyone but up and deal with the cold?

I want to get some new kart action before they're all beat from the no driving morons.

new karts are good but with a high of ~48*F, grip will be low. fine for racing, poor for trying to set a personal best time.

i'll probably be going to ECR on saturday as well. i could go sunday but the real ticket is monday/thursday. forecast is 61*F/64*F respectively and those days are $15 races. too bad it's a weekday but i might take a half day from work and go anyways.

it would be cool to have them setup a like a 10 lap race with a grid start.

small cash pot is good though i could see someone intentionally spinning another person out!

Doing that in a cart typically slows down the person spinning them out. Depending on how wide the track is, that would allow others to pass. With every cart being relatively similar, that's just a bad idea.

Time to start making alliances to split the pot!!!!

They will allow you to do a grid start if the track is slow. My buddies and I do them when we go on super slow days (like when it's 48 out). It's a lot of fun to stage it slowest to fastest to keep the race interesting.

After 2-3 laps I'll have a little heat in the tires, plus the new surface grips exceptionally well. The track also seems to just keep getting wider. But I've never cared as much for lap time as beating the group of friends I'm with.
