I can't really go too far due to the fact that I'd have to drive the deathtrap postal Jeep since my wife's car had that run-in with a deer AND my truck is still waiting for custom drag link and tie rods to be built. No doors can make it real fun running 75 down I20, especially if it is cold or wet.

If the weather would cooperate and I had a little warning I'd be up for driving further east though.

I'll be sure to stay in FRONT of that rattle-trap...falling parts can be hazardous! LOL!

Yup, but the more stuff that falls off, the lighter it gets.

I'm down for meeting in Tyler if that's what y'all want to do as long as i'm not working. I'm usually off every other weekend

Saturday nights are the only chance for me. Tyler can work.

I'm here in East Texas (Palestine). I'd love to attend a GTG. Has anyone said when and where?

I need to be assured of great weather. If I can help it, I don't drive my car in the rain.

So we have it narrowed down to a Saturday night in Tyler at least, that's a start. I don't think this Saturday is a good idea, not much notice for those of us who keep a schedule a week or more in advance. How about next Saturday the 29th? We'll also need some of you familiar with the Tyler area to give us some ideas on what kind of places we can meet up at, albeit for some lunch, a few beers, or whatever.

If it's this saturday i won't be able to head that way until 2pm. And i don't know much about Tyler eateries. I haven't been there in awhile

Isn't Tyler in a dry county?
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

Maybe, but I won't be drinking and driving back to Dallas, anyway.

I'm "out" this Saturday, but anytime after, I'm good.

There are no liquor stores or beer stores, but restaurants and bars can serve alcohol.
